At Capital Chauffeurs we take our responsibilities to the environment seriously and we aim to minimise our business carbon footprint.

Our team of Chauffeurs operate using eco-driving techniques prevent undue environmental damage as well as to optimise vehicle performance and service delivery. These techniques include:

• Making sure the tyre pressure is correct
• Keeping within the speed limits
• Feathering the throttle once at cruising speed
  
• Breaking smoothly
  
• Accelerator sense using good observation and forward planning in heavy traffic
  
• Reverse parking to enable most efficient drive away when the car is cold
• Carrying adequate fuel but not overburdening the tank

If a customer is not looking to receive a scenic chauffeur package then our drivers and customer service team will always recommend the most direct route be taken.
We support community and Government initiatives to counter the effect of global warming and we are also currently taking an active interest in the options available to businesses to offset their carbon footprint through the purchase of carbon credits.
